In view of the World Environment Day celebrated on 5th June, the school organized a tree plantation drive from 20th June to 24th June . Students from Grade 5-9 were encouraged to bring any one of the following plants ; Rain trees, Mango tree (kalam variety), Neem tree and Bougainvillea
Students from all sections zealously brought the saplings themselves thereby being a helping hand to the mother nature.
Students did gain a lesson about importance of trees in our environment and lives . The little ones were awakened to a social consciousness and love for the nature and Mother Earth.
It is said, ‘The beauty of nature lies in the trees’ so plant and grow more trees.
