Van Mahotsav – 10th July, 2025

Celebrating Van Mahotsav

A special assembly was held on 10th July to celebrate Van Mahotsav, organized by Ms. Neha and the students of Grade 9. The assembly began with a meaningful prayer service, invoking blessings for the well-being of nature and all living beings. This was followed by an insightful video presentation that highlighted the importance of nature and shed light on the ill effects of human actions and unchecked progress on the environment.

The students then presented a thought-provoking skit emphasizing the critical role of nature—especially oxygen—and how its depletion directly impacts human health and survival. The powerful message was followed by a pledge ceremony, where students promised to plant at least one tree every year and nurture it with care, committing to a greener and healthier planet.

The assembly concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal, Sr. Sheron, who emphasized the need to live in harmony with nature. She reminded the students of their responsibility and their pledge to contribute actively to environmental conservation. The program ended on a celebratory note with the felicitation of students who had excelled in the International Talent Olympiad (ITO) at both state and national levels.
