Convent of Jesus and Mary International School organized a special Wellness seminar for its staff members on 4th December, 2021 and for the parents of the students from Prep 1 and 2 as well as the parents of the students in Grade 7 and 8 on 11th December, 2021.
The seminar was conducted by the highly accomplished Rev. Dr. Ivon Almeida. Fr. Almeida who has dedicated himself to helping people achieve a state of wellness in their lives by conducting such seminars for students, their parents and staff all over the country.
The theme of the seminars was, ‘Healthy minds nurturing Healthy children’. Adults play a very significant part in influencing the mindsets of the children and it is therefore imperative that adults themselves have the right mental attitude towards themselves as well as others. Fr. Ivon helped the staff and the parents realise this fact and advocated that adults first need to take care of their own mental and emotional wellbeing inorder to guide their children correctly.
