Our Prep Section was transformed into a beautiful sea of blue as students and teachers celebrated Blue Day on 9th July with great enthusiasm!
Activity 1: Blue Nature Walk
Dressed in different shades of blue and donning their raincoats, the children went for a walk near the school. The monsoon had made everything lush and green. The children were delighted to see the surrounding hills, trees, greenery, and sparkling waterfalls. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to connect the colour blue with nature – the blue sky above and the blue water flowing down the hills. The children enjoyed the fresh air, observed their surroundings, and came back with happy memories.
Activity 2: My Little Aquarium
Back in class, creativity took over! Children coloured colourful paper fish and stuck them onto a paper plate to create their own little aquariums. This fun craft activity helped them learn about marine life while developing fine motor skills, colour recognition, and imagination.
The day was a perfect blend of outdoor exploration and indoor creativity. It helped children appreciate the colour blue in nature and art, while making learning joyful and memorable!
