The Secondary Section observed International Yoga Day through a special assembly held on 22nd June 2026. The programme was organized to create awareness among students about the importance of yoga in promoting physical health, mental well-being, and inner peace.
The students gathered in the hall and were seated in an orderly manner, maintaining an atmosphere of discipline and attentiveness. The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer song, invoking God’s blessings and setting a serene tone for the event.
A well-curated PowerPoint presentation was showcased, providing valuable insights into the various forms of yoga and their benefits. Students learned about Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Ashtanga Yoga, gaining a deeper understanding of how yoga contributes to the holistic development of the mind, body, and spirit.
To further highlight the significance of yoga in daily life, students presented an engaging skit that illustrated the many benefits of regular yoga practice.
