Nursery & Prep 1 – Animal Headgear Craft
Our youngest learners of Nursery and Prep 1 explored the animal world through art today. Children coloured pictures of farm and wild animals, crafted them into headgear, and wore their creations proudly. The activity sparked creativity, improved fine motor skills, and helped them identify different animals in a fun, hands-on way. The classrooms were buzzing with tiny lions, cows, zebras, and hens!
Prep 2 – Animal Worksheets
Prep 2 students reinforced their learning with engaging worksheets based on the animal theme. They enjoyed matching animals to their young ones, identifying animal body parts, and pairing animals with their shelters. The exercise strengthened observation, logical thinking, and vocabulary while connecting concepts taught in class.
Learning outcomes: Animal recognition, fine motor development, logical reasoning, vocabulary building, and concept reinforcement.
