The Annual Sports Meet of our school was held on Saturday, 19th January 2019, on the School Grounds. The Meet began with the hoisting of the School Flag by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Natasha Fernandes, one of our PTA members. This was followed by the March Past, the Sports Man’s prayer and the Oath. Our Chief Guest then declared the meet open. Various colourful Drills were presented by the children. This was followed by the races. (Running Race, Fancy Race, Relay and Tug of war), Games for Parents and Helpers too were held. Winners were awarded Medals and Certificates. The event ended on a note of thanks followed by the National Anthem. The Chief Guest congratulated the winners and also appreciated the participants for their performance . She then gave the message of true sportsmanship- “Whether you win or lose, participation in the right spirit is necessary”.
